The Tenggerese people are a Javanese ethnic group in eastern Java who claim to be the descendants of the Majapahit princes. 


Their population of roughly 100,000 is centred in 30 villages in the isolated Tengger mountains in the Bromo Tengger Semaru in eastern Java.


On the 14th day of the Kasada, A main festival for the the Tenggerese; they travel to the top of Mount Bromo to pray for blessing from the God of the Mountain by offering sacrifice such us animals, vegetables, fruit, livestock, flowers as well as money.
